Tara Darby
Hostess
Tara began her modeling career at the age of fourteen and has been doing so ever since. Her big break into television happened a few years later when she was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2004. She spent the year touring the state with speaking engagements and television appearances, and soon fell in love with the spotlight.
She excelled in the Miss USA pageant landing in the Top Ten, and was also featured as a contestant in the Miss USA Fear Factor competition. She made her state proud by not only bringing home the coveted Miss Fear Factor title, but also $25,000. She was thankful to have the opportunity to donate the remaining $25,000 to a dear charity of hers, the National Breast Cancer Coalition.
The spotlight remains on Tara to this day. You can see her on television weekly in the Houston market, as well as nationally on the Outdoor Channel, MAVE TV and several national commercials. There is not an aspect of the media that she’s not involved in.
You will also find her in print ads, on the runway, in infomercials, web TV and other spokesperson positions, as well as hear her over the radio waves. She has even ventured off into production, working for an internationally syndicated program, as well as editing a new up-and-coming magazine which will soon hit the Houston market in June of this year.
When she’s not busy working, she loves to spend her free time with her husband and friends in Houston and visiting family back home in Alabama. She also enjoys traveling, whether for business or for pleasure, and has an exceptional love for animals.
